past displays and shows

2026

the village arts factory

(canton, MI)

This was a group show with the talented cassidy barnett and chase linden.

i really enjoyed this one…strong turnout, fun conversations, and a few pieces even found some new homes!

special thanks to kevin ryan and jennifer collins…art curators extraordinaire!

2025

geek brush studio

(chelsea, MI)

ARTICLE LINK

Geek brush studio is owned and operated by my good friend brenda fineman, who is an incredible artist and advocate for the local se michigan art scene.

i had the honor of being geek brush studio’s first guest artist in november, 2025!

so grateful to know brenda (and her dashing husband-slash-bartender ben of ben and dave fame!).

2025

irwin house gallery

(detroit, MI)

I have had the honor of displaying pieces at irwin house’s annual “gifted” exhibition since 2022.

each year there is a new curator, however the heart and brain behind the operation is the great misha mcglown (omo misha).

misha is a local treasure and am grateful to consider her a friend and advocate. i can’t believe i don’t have a picture with her yet!

2025

cherry hill village theater gallery

(canton, MI)

my original “holy grail” gallery. the chv theater is minutes from my house, and for nearly a decade it was at the top of my “goal list” to have a display there someday.

well, in 2025 i held a group show (with fellow quirk-core artists sam bertin and victor spieles) there, and it didn’t disappoint.

in addition to the incredible turnout and experience, i had a chance to perform my first “ribbon cutting” ceremony! it’s the little things sometimes.

2023

Gallery at Brewery Park

(Detroit, MI)

The gallery at brewery park is located in the crain communication building, which is amazingly located right next to ford field in detroit.

this was my first time displaying in the brewery park gallery, and it was my largest show to date, with over 30 pieces displayed.

so many friends, old and new, were able to come to the opening.

grateful to amanda koss (a super talented abstract artist and curator) for the opportunity!

2023

art in the park

(plymouth, mi)

Another experience that had wanted to have for several years.

my wife and i have been going to the plymouth art in the park fair for over 20 years, and was so excited to have my own dragan pop art booth in 2023!

by the way, putting together a booth is a LOT of work, and i’m so thankful for the support i had from family and friends. if you ever go to an art fair, please realize how much effort each artist has taken to put their creations out there for all to experience.

2022

the congregation

(detroit, mi)

my first of a handful of shows in the congregation, this came with a lot of lessons learned from my previous shows. from piece selection to layout to pricing, i felt a lot more confident in this show. curated by the multitalented dr. chanel beebe, this show was a blast with great turnout and enthusiasm.

2020

detroit shipping company

(detroit, mi)

my first solo display ever! my dear friend angie let me know about this place in 2019, and i was able to secure a spot in october, 2020.

I learned a lot about what to do (and not do) at exhibitions like this, and am grateful for the opportunity and for all of the friends who came out, especially in the covid-days!
